Hahn Allen stumbled at box rise and lost ground as a result.  Nooroo, Whodat Knockin' and Casmay Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Nooroo checked off Whodat Knockin' on the first turn.  Tomahawk and Flachez collided approaching the home turn checking Flachez.  Nooroo raced wide in the home straight.  Whodat Knockin' and Quara Bale collided in the home straight checking Quara Bale.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. D. Field regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Nooroo.  Stewards directed that Nooroo be boxed first in future events.  Hahn Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. Jachary was quick to begin.  Mr. Jachary crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Master Spike.  Rockin Rox, Rampant Lion and Spa Lision collided approaching the first turn checking Rampant Lion and Spa Lision.  Archie's Brother and Rockin Rox collided approaching the first turn checking Rockin Rox.  Frimpong and Rockin Rox collided on the first turn checking Rockin Rox.  Archie's Brother and Rampant Lion collided approaching the home turn.  Rampant Lion raced wide on the home turn.  Spa Lision checked off Archie's Brother in the home straight.

Classique Garcon was slow to begin.  Mepunga Marsha and Yowyeh collided soon after the start.  Millard checked off Walking Street approaching the first turn.  Millard and Walking Street collided on the second turn checking Millard.  Classique Garcon raced wide on the second turn and again in the back straight.  Black Fleet and Mepunga Marsha collided approaching the home turn.  Magic Fire, Yoslene Bale and Walking Street collided entering the home straight.

 Bit Dashing was a late scratching at 6.04p.m. due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Chuffed and Quick Succession collided soon after the start.  Joshua Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Blazing Madam, Orara George, Scarlet Maid, Quick Succession and Painted Miss.  Quick Succession, Chuffed and Orara George collided on the first turn checking Chuffed and Blazing Madam.  Scarlet Maid and Orara George collided approaching the home turn checking Orara George, Quick Succession and Chuffed.

Blazing Madam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right thigh and grazes to the left calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

We Are Geelong was slow to begin.  Allen Caston and We Are Geelong collided soon after the start checking We Are Geelong.  Evie's Fire, Sachin Bale, Candle Boy and An That collided approaching the first turn checking Candle Boy.  Sachin Bale, Allen Caston, Miss Obsession and We Are Geelong collided on the first turn checking We Are Geelong and Miss Obsession.  We Are Geelong and Miss Obsession collided on the second turn and again approaching the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Evie's Fire faltered approaching the home turn and  tailed off. 

Evie's Fire was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Chocolate Frog was slow to begin.  Especially, Sapporo and Pure Instinct collided approaching the first turn.  Pure Instinct and Sapporo collided on the first turn severely checking Sapporo.  Especially and Zipping Damo collided approaching the home turn.  Chocolate Frog and Zipping Damo collided approaching the home turn severely checking Chocolate Frog which checked Wattle Bee as a result.

Chocolate Frog was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Spot On Jane, Inspector Lynley and Proven Cue were slow to begin.  Inspector Lynley and Proven Cue collided soon after the start checking Proven Cue.  Spot On Jane and Inspector Lynley collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Inspector Lynley.  Spot On Jane checked off Inspector Lynley in the home straight.

Mepunga Lana, Ronald Wesley and Groove Girl were slow to begin.  Licoln Imp, Soul Eater, Mepunga Lana, Devil's Own and Joe Blow collided soon after the start checking Lincoln Imp and Mepunga Lana.  Lincoln Imp and Ronald Weasley collided entering the back straight checking Ronald Weasley.  Groove Girl checked off Mepunga Lana on the home turn.

Sue Dough, Call The Police and Wave Burst were slow to begin.  Cool And Fancy and Steve Natural collided approaching the first turn.  Steve Natural and Miss Rookie collided approaching the home turn.  Sue Dough and Steve Natural collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Cool And Fancy checked off Miss Rookie in the home straight.

Candle Wish was slow to begin.  Mahmo and Limburg Layne collided soon after the start.  Dr. Paulie, Real Brew and Miss Abilene collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Paulie.  Mohmo checked off Real Brew on the first turn severely checking Mohmo and Dr. Paulie.  Real Brew and Candle Wish collided in the back straight checking Real Brew.  Bordello Queen and Real Brew collided on the home turn.

John And Jayjay was slow to begin.  Kosi Can, Osti Moss, Scorcher and He Went Off collided on the first turn checking Scorcher and Osti Moss.  Big Stud and He Went Off collided approaching the home turn.  He Went Off checked off Big Stud in the home straight.

Betty Jane was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Nigel Bale was a late scratching at 6.17 p.m. on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Cosmic Jim was slow to begin.  Cedric Diggory and Cosmic Black collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Yella and Hannah Boden collided on the first turn severely checking Hurricane Yella.  Cedric Diggory and Hoofla collided approaching the home turn.  Cedric Diggory eased approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Ian Cockerell  trainer of the greyhound Cedric Diggory .  Cedric Diggory was vetted  follwing the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right monkey muscle and right front sesamoid.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(5) the stewards charged  Cedric Diggory with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant toGAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
