Aston Cyus was slow to begin. Dream Dazzler and Arabella Figg collided soon after the start checking Dream Dazzler and Crowd Goes Wild. Dream Editiion, Nila Bale and Arabella Figg collided approaching the first turn. Dream Edition checked off Dyna Ditto approaching the first turn. Dream Edition, Nila Bale and Arabella Figg collided on the first turn checking Nila Bale, Dream Dazzler and Crowd Goes Wild. Nila Bale galloped on the heels of Arabella Figg approaching the second turn checking Crowd Goes Wild, severely checking Nila Bale and Dream Dazzler. Aston Cyus, Dream Edition and Arabella Figg collided on the second turn checking Aston Cyus, severely checking Dream Edition. Aston Cyus and Nila Bale collided on the third turn, severely checking Aston Cyus which lost ground.
Alpha Nemesis was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards issued a warning to Mrs A. Langton, Representative for Trainer, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.
