General's Girl stayed in the boxes and took no part in the event.
Maserati Rev and Cee Jay Mac collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark.
General's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Ms V.Watson, the trainer of the greyhound General's Girl regarding the greyhounds performance. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged General's Girl with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Watson pleaded guilty to the charge, General's Girl was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
