Our Debree was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide throughout the event. Burnsy's Jewel, Not So Cheap and Falls Road Man collided soon after the start, checking Falls Road Man. Who's Hook and Burnsy's Jewel collided at the 250m mark, checking Burnsy's Jewel. Not So Cheap checked off Who's Hook at the 200m mark. Burnsy's Jewel checked off Not So Cheap at the 150m mark. He's No Wally clipped the heels of Not So Cheap at the 125m mark. Not So Cheap and Tallow Wood collided several times approaching the winning post.
