Offstandish was a late scratching at 4:45pm after Stewards were notified by D.Cortese (handler of the greyhound) in the absence of his father, T Cortese (trainer) that the greyhound was found to be ill prior to leaving for the track. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. A veterinary certificate will be required before any future nomination will be accepted. Moonlight Path was slow to begin. Short Poppy and Blue Mocobes collided soon after the start checking Short Poppy.Fire Path and Path Drifter collided soon after the start. Fire Path crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Audacity Miss, Stagger Out, Moonlight Path and Blue Mocobes. Blue Mocobes and Moonlight Path collided on the first turn checking Moonlight Path which raced wide as a result. Short Poppy and Blue Mocobes collided on the second turn. Moonlight Path was check off Blue Mocobes on the second turn. Audacity Miss checked off Path Drifter approaching the home turn. Audacity Miss and Short Poppy collided on the home turn.
