Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Judge Mrs.S.Collins did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Dave Culprit was slow to begin. Dr. Kalessie and Smurf's El Galo collided soon after the start. Flame Of Poverty and Willola collided approaching the first turn. Dr. Pearl crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Dave Culprit and Top Drama collided approaching the first turn. Dr. Kalessie and Smurf's El Galo collided on the first turn checking Smurf's El Galo. Dr. Pearl and Surprise Thyme collided on the first turn. Flame Of Poverty checked off Surprise Thyme on the first turn severely checking Flame Of Poverty and Willola both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Dr. Pearl crossed to the outside on the second turn severely checking Dr. Pearl, Dave Culprit, Surprise Thyme and Flame Of Poverty causing Willola to gallop on Dr.Pearl severely checking Willola. Top Drama checked off Surprise Thyme on the second turn. Dr. Kalessie and Dr. Pearl collided on the third turn.
Willola was vetted and after being revetted following event 3. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle and right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
