Steward's Report
Track Curator H.Brodie advised stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on 3 October 2016.
Fancy Talon was a late scratching at 6:26pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Kynan's Revenge was quick to begin. Cordite Alert and Fast Freddie collided soon after the start. Foxzami Storm and Ben's Talon collided soon after the start. Cordite Alert and Faxzami Storm collided on the first turn, checking Faxzami Storm and Ben's Talon. Quarter To galloped on the heels of Kynan's Revenge on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Quarter To and Kynan's Revenge collided approaching the home turn, and again entering the home straight. Cordite Alert and Foxzami Storm collided in the home straight.
Kynan's Revenge was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
