A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Righto Mitch, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Peta Sketa was slow to begin. Tweedle Dee was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Bright Sky and Melrose Drive collided approaching the first turn. Righto Mitch crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Melrose Drive and Bright Sky. Bright Sky and Melrose Drive collided approaching the home turn, checking Bright Sky, Laniakea and Blue Marmion. Bright Sky and Laniakea collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
