Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Telling, the trainer of One More Des regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. One More Des last raced on 4 June 2016 and is returning from a right hock injury.
Ms. D. White, trainer of Swift Jewel declared a new weight of 27.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Swift Jewel last raced at 25.5kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tweedle Dumb.

Jasocate was quick to begin. Sir Fancy was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Tweedle Dumb and TrickyTrey collided soon after the start checking Tweedle Dumb. Shot To Glory and One More Des collided soon after the start checking One More Des. Sir Fancy contracted the running rail approaching the first turn and again on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Tricky Trey faltered approaching the home turn. Jasocate raced wide in the home straight.
Sir Fancy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
