Steward's Report

A pre race sample was taken from Aston Mondo.

Shiro and Poker Brat collided approaching the first turn. Shiro, Show Bag Carter and Aston Mondo collided on the first turn, checking Aston Mondo. Gator Bale galloped on the heels of Hollywood Model on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Poker Brat contacted the running rail approaching the home turn, checking Aston Mondo. Hollywood Model and Shiro collided entering the home straight, causing Shiro to fall.

Shiro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right front toe. No stand down period was imposed.
