Steward's Report
Flying Sam went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Cheryl's Boy and Swing Arm were slow to begin. Talanjee Lou was quick to begin. Flying Sam and Cheryl's Boy collided approaching the first turn, checking Flying Sam, which contacted the running rail and lost ground as a result. Joycee Rae and Bush Star collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Bush Star. Nilson Bale checked off Cheryl's Boy in the home straight.
Flying Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Bush Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
