Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Road To Vegas.
Claretown Ace was quick to begin. Claretown Ace and Blue Label collided soon after the start checking Blue Label. Crackerjack Roy and Karaoke Ken collided approaching the first turn checking Karaoke Ken. Crackerjack Ace galloped on the heels of Lola Cherry Cola on the first turn checking Crackerjack Ace and Karaoke Ken and severely checking Lola Cherry Cola. Gypsy Wendy checked off Road To Vegas approaching the home turn. Lola Cherry Cola cramped approaching the winning post and tailed off as a result.
Lola Cherry Cola was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Dyett, the representative of the greyhound Lola Cherry Cola. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
