Splash Of Blue, Bernmar Thunder and Winnie were slow to begin.  Tiger Bobby and Chattering collided soon after the start.  Belron Del and Blue Deception collided soon after the start.  Splash Of Blue and Bernmar Thunder crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Splash Of Blue, Bernmar Thunder and Belron Del.  Belron Del, Bernmar Thunder and Winnie collided at the 300 metre mark.  Splash Of Blue crossed to the outside at the 300 metre mark and collided with Tiger Bobby.  Bernmar Thunder checked off Winnie approaching the 250 metre mark and raced wide as a result.  Winnie checked off Chattering approaching the 200 metre mark and crossed to the rail as a result.  Dozer Gold and Blue Deception collided at the 150 metre mark.  Splash Of Blue and Dozer Gold collided at the 100 metre mark.  Belron Del and Winnie collided at the 50 metre mark.  Tiger Bobby and Chattering collided approaching the winning post.

A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Splash Of Blue, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Worsfold, the trainer of Alvarsson regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.   Alvarsson last raced on 18th March 2016 and is returning to race after a right hock injury and a change of trainer/owner.

A pre race sample was taken from Alvarsson.

Alvarsson, Tangoette and Parto's Pin were slow to begin.  Suntory Snow and Blue Power collided soon after the start.  Glib Lightning and Buzman Benz collided at the 300 metre mark.  Parto's Pin crossed to the rail at the 300 metre mark.  Suntory Snow and Blue Power collided several times from the 250 metre mark to the 200 metre mark severely checking both greyhounds and causing Blue Power to stumble, severely checking Alvarsson; Suntory Snow pulled up and Alvarsson and Blue Power tailed off as a result.  Double Deception and Tangoette collided at the 100 metre mark.  

Alvarsson was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mrs. J. Worsfold, the trainer of Alvarsson regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 200 metre mark.  In coming to this decision, Stewards deemed that the injury and reaction from Suntory Snow was sufficient to disrupt the running of Alvarsson. 

Suntory Snow was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right scapula.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Power was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

The start time for this event was rescheduled to 12:36pm due to Race 2 incidents and insufficient time to prepare the track.

A pre race sample was taken from Sanz Marlow.

Barney Bubble, Nellie's Lad and Sanz Marlow collided soon after the start checking Nellie's Lad, Mighty Duck, Glen Mika and Oliver Cruise.  Oliver Cruise, Mighty Duck, Nellie's Lad, Tahnee Dream and Barney Bubble collided approaching the 250 metre mark checking Tahnee Dream, Mighty Duck, Nellie's Lad and Barney Bubble.  Oliver Cruise, Nellie's Lad and Zero Care Factor collided several times from the 200 metre mark to approaching the winning post checking all three greyhounds.

Nellie's Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind toe nail injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

The start time for this event was rescheduled to 12:53pm due to Race 2 incidents.

Kenny's Millions and Like A Fancy collided soon after the start and again on the 250 metre mark checking Like A Fancy.  Worthy Reab and Like A Fancy collided at the 200 metre mark.  Kenny's Millions and Crackdown collided at the 150 metre mark.

A pre race sample was taken from Dynasty Guru.

Lonesome Dude was slow to begin.  Lonesome Dude, Dynasty Guru and That's The Plan collided soon after the start checking Lonesome Dude and Dynasty Guru.  Gunmetal Diva and One More Tom collided approaching the 100 metre mark.

Walk On By and Beyond Today were slow to begin.  Beyond Today and Conquer Fear collided soon after the start.  Bourbon An Kahn and Beyond Today collided approaching the 250 metre mark checking both greyhounds.  Pomp Fiction checked off Walk On By at the 200 metre mark.  Beyond Today and Pomp Fiction collided approaching the 150 metre mark checking Beyond Today.  Walk On By and Swan To Steele collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Cheers Bryan and Wolfbane McCabe collided soon after the start.  Wolfbane McCabe and Showgirl Miss collided at the 300 metre mark.  Space Emm clipped the heels of Flying Holly approaching the 50 metre mark.  They Watch, Flying Holly and Space Emm collided approaching the winning post checking Flying Holly.
