Steward's Report
Gotta Rush was quick to begin. Chantilly Magic was slow to begin. Gotta Rush crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Fredwyn. Cosmic Pilot, Super Patricia and Fredwyn collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Pilot and Super Patricia. Chantilly Magic faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Fredwyn checked off Straight Flush on the first turn. Cosmic Pilot checked off Super Patricia approaching the home turn. Cosmic Pilot raced wide on the home turn.
Chantilly Magic was vetted and re-vetted following race 11. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sore right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms S Drummond, the trainer of the greyhound Chantilly Magic. Stewards deemed the performance of Chantilly Magic unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Chantilly Magic must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
