Steward's Report
Mr J Dunn, trainer of Boss Hustler redeclared a new weight of 32.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Boss Hustler last raced at 34.5kg.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure Driver Mr B Groom did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Boss Hustler faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result. Mr. Moo, Locked Out and Feel The Love collided on the first turn checking Locked Out and Feel The Love. Lila's Girl and Virtue collided on the first turn checking Feel The Love and severely checking Lila's Girl, Virtue and Mr. Moo, Virtue and Mr. Moo lost considerable ground as a result. Lila's Girl and Feel The Love collided approaching the home turn. Cosmic Gene and Fancy Assassin collided on the home turn. Cosmic Gene checked off Fancy Assassin entering the home straight. Lila's Girl and Feel The Love collided in the home straight.
Boss Hustler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained biceps soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr J Dunn, the trainer of the greyhound Boss Hustler. Stewards deemed the performance of Boss Hustler unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Boss Hustler must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Meeting Comments-
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Northern Blues trialled over the 450m from box 5, weight 33.7kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.48, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75. Northern Blues was cleared to race in blinkers.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Stetson Quamby trialled over the 450m from box 3, weight 29.7kg the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.48, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 13 lengths. Stetson Quamby was cleared.
