Steward's Report
Mr. J. Stemmer, trainer of Gorbachev redeclared a new weight of 34.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gorbachev last raced at 32.9kgs.
Amaroo Chaos and Early Violet were quick to begin. Secret Colour, Hold On Nitro and Cool Milo were slow to begin. Zatmine checked off Amaroo Chaos on the first turn checking Hold On Nitro and Early Violet. Secret Colour contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. McCann regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Zatmine. Stewards directed that Zatmine be boxed first in future events.
Secret Colour was vetted following event 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to its left metacarpal and right shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
