Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Vapour Lee engaged in this event on 29 June 2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Dyna Tiber and Let It Develop collided soon after the start. Bojack Kahn, Minority and Jailor Bale collided soon after the start, checking Jailor Bale. Dyna Tiber checked off India Pale approaching the first turn. Jailor Bale checked off Helga Bale approaching the first turn. Helga Bale and Bojack Kahn collided on the first turn, checking Bojack Kahn and India Pale. Jailor Bale and Minority collided approaching the home turn, checking Minority. Dyna Tiber, India Pale and Let It Develop raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to licensed person Ms K Heinrich and kennel attendant Mr. R.Gladman after it was established the greyhound Dyna Tiber was placed in an incorrect kennel race bay during kennelling. After hearing evidence from both parties, Stewards charged Ms K Heinrich in breach of GAR 86(o) with negligence. Ms K Heinrich pleaded guilty to the charge and Stewards issued a fine of $100.00.
Kennel staff will be referred to Club management in regards to this matter.
