Rex On, Quite Spritely and Abbie's Dream collided approaching the first turn, checking Quite Spritely and Abbie's Dream. Rene Love checked off Deadset Jet on the first turn. Rex On and Abbie's Dream collided on the first turn, checking Abbie's Dream. Rene Love checked off Blitzem Cola on the home turn. Rex On checked off Rene Love on the home turn, severely checking Rex On, Quite Spritely, Cacoethes and My Birthday, all four greyhounds raced wide as a result.
