A pre-race sample was taken from Jiggly Legs prior to kennelling, upon arrival at the course.
Velvet Hammer and Eaton Bale were slow to begin. Velvet Hammer checked off Lektra Bandit approaching the first turn. Lektra Bandit, Lektra Hombre and Under Taker collided on the first turn checking Lektra Hombre and Under Taker. Why Not Les checked off Jiggly Legs on the first turn. Under Taker galloped on the heels of Lektra Hombre on the second turn. Velvet Hammer raced wide on the second turn. Why Not Les and Pretty Bale collided in the back straight. Velvet Hammer and Eaton Bale collided on the third turn.
