This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes to avoid a clash with a Kilmore Harness event.
Allen Oregon was slow to begin. What's Up Herbie, Igor Karkaroff, Pirlo and Takedown collided approaching the first turn checking Igor Karkaroff. Bucky Boy, Takedown, Pirlo and What's Up Herbie collided on the first turn checking What's Up Herbie, Pirlo and Igor Karkaroff and severely checking Takedown, Mafalda Hopkirk and Bucky Boy; Bucky Boy fell as a result. Takedown and Mafalda Hopkirk collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Allen Portland and What's Up Herbie collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn. Allen Portland and What's Up Herbie collided entering the back straight checking Allen Portland, What's Up Herbie and Pirlo. Pirlo and Allen Oregon collided in the back straight. What's Up Herbie checked off Allen Portland approaching the third turn. Igor Karkaroff and Allen Portland collided on the third turn. Igor Karkaroff brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Pirlo checked off What's Up Herbie in the home straight.
