Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to C. Glen, trainer of the greyhound Spanky's Legacy as the greyhound had not raced since 8 April 2015. Mr Glen stated that the greyhound had been sent to Western Australia by its previous owner and whilst it was there it was unable to race due to injury. The greyhound was subsequently sold and returned to Victoria where it entered the kennels of Mr Glen.
A pre race sample was taken from Meadows One.
Play A Kazoo and Eddie Yap collided soon after the start. American Muscle, Spanky's Legacy and Meadows One collided approaching the first turn. American Muscle and Meadows One collided approaching the home turn checking Meadows One. Play A Kazoo and Eddie Yap collided in the home straight checking Eddie Yap.
