Steward's Report
Final Bid was slow to begin. Splash Of White crossed to the rail soon after the start. Red Light Runner, Dyna Keitaro, Splash Of White and Morson Senor collided on the first turn checking Red Light Runner, Splash Of White, Morson Senor and Bursting Flames. Splash Of White and Morson Senor collided several times on the home turn checking Morson Senor, Red Light Runner, Final Bid and Cerberus, Cerberus raced wide as a result. Morson Senor and Red Light Runner collided in the home straight. Red Light Runner, Morson Senor and Splash Of White collided approaching the winning post.
Cerberus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. M. Quick regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Cerberus. Stewards directed that Cerberus be boxed first in future events.
