Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Handley, trainer of the greyhound Stretch Limo and reminded him of his responsibility to ensure he carries his registration card at all times.

Darra Blaze, Baltic Valhlla, Our Cadel and Claretown Sam were slow to begin. Dynamite Dixie checked off Spritely Boy on the first turn. Baltic Valhalla and Claretown Sam collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Baltic Valhalla and Claretown Sam collided in the back straight and on the second turn. Dynamite Dixie contacted the running rail on the second turn. Stretch Limo and Mepunga Ted collided approaching the home turn an on the home turn checking Stretch Limo. 

Claretown Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from It's An Illusion engaged in this event on 23/07/2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Deadly Pace crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with It's An Illusion, Cowboy Love and Boo Shan. Cowboy Love, It's An Illusion and Deadly Pace collided approaching the first turn. It's An Illusion, Deadly Pace and Marie Schrader collided approaching the first turn checking It's An Illusion and Deadly Pace. Sheza Black Rose and Marie Schrader collided approaching the home turn severely checking Marie Schrader which collided with It's An Illusion, checking It's An Illusion. Miss Rossi and Cowboy Love collided approaching the home turn. Sheza Black Rose checked off My Girl Chloe approaching the home turn. 

Marie Schrader was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Road To Vegas, Dee Summer and Carlanna Jobe were slow to begin. Crackerjack Bill and Hydra collided approaching the first turn. Ima Cosmic and Wobbler collided approaching the home turn. Road To Vegas contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Hydra and Ima Cosmic raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Road To Vegas and Carlanna Jobe collided in the home straight.

Carlanna Jobe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in both triangles and soreness in the right tricep. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Mrs. K. Repia, trainer of Can't See Me  redeclared a new weight of 30.2 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Can't See Me last raced at 28.9 kg.

Dance Craze was a late scratching at 4:04 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a bleeding papiloma on the left hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Can't See Me was slow to begin. Snake Woman, Apatchy Racer and Cousin Cosmo collided approaching the first turn. checking Cousin Cosmo and Can't See Me. Snake Woman and Franklin Pearl collided approaching the home turn checking Snake Woman. Cousin Cosmo galloped on the heels of Crackerjack Andy approaching the home turn.

Snake Woman was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right triangle and the right shoulder. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Dundas Boy, Rules Apply and Be Two Bomber were slow to begin. Seabrook Sam and Schumacher collided on the first turn checking Schumacher. Dundas Boy, Be Two Bomber, Schmacher and Proven Kodiak collided entering the back straight severely checking Dundas Boy, Be Two Bomber and Proven Kodiak. Seabrook Sam checked off Smiley Sam approaching the second turn.

Dundas Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left triangle and a wound to the medial front right leg. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Trail Blazing was slow to begin. Bing's Bro, Roman Baroque, Premier Hawk, Mepunga Moss and Tammy Baxter collided approaching the first turn checking Roman Baroque. Bing's Bro, Premier Hawk, Mepunga Moss and Tammy Baxter collided approaching the first turn checking Premier Hawk and Mepunga Moss. Bing's Bro and Tammy Baxter collided approaching the home turn checking Tammy Baxter. Trail Blazing, Roman Baroque and Tammy Baxter collided approaching the home turn checking Roman Baroque. Trail Blazing, Premier Hawk and Tammy Baxter collided approaching the home turn checking Premier Hawk and Tammy Baxter. Premier Hawk and Tammy Baxter collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Trail Blazing checked off Bing's Bro in the home straight. Bing's Bro race wide in the home straight.

Tammy Baxter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left groin, left triangle and the left shoulder. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Final Bid was slow to begin. Splash Of White crossed to the rail soon after the start. Red Light Runner, Dyna Keitaro, Splash Of White and Morson Senor collided on the first turn checking Red Light Runner, Splash Of White, Morson Senor and Bursting Flames. Splash Of White and Morson Senor collided several times on the home turn checking Morson Senor, Red Light Runner, Final Bid and Cerberus, Cerberus raced wide as a result. Morson Senor and Red Light Runner collided in the home straight. Red Light Runner, Morson Senor and Splash Of White collided approaching the winning post.

Cerberus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. M. Quick regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Cerberus.  Stewards directed that Cerberus be boxed first in future events.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Lachlan Bear engaged in this event on 23/07/2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Voight was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Young Henry, Noaki Buckley, Rocka Hula Baby and Zoe collided soon after the start. Noaki Buckley, Hession Boots and Rocka Hula Baby collided on the first turn checking Noaki Buckley and Rocka Hula Baby. Shazzle's Boy, Lachlan Bear and Hession Boots collided entering the back straight checking Hession Boots. Young Henry and Lachlan Bear collided in the back straight checking Lachlan Bear. Voight checked off Lachlan Bear approaching the home turn. Voight checked off Hession Boots in the home straight. Rocka Hula Baby raced wide in the home straight.

Mr. J. Cooper was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration card for the greyhound Crackerjack Pest pursuant to GAR 33.

Furious Barb was very slow to begin (4 lengths). College Graduate checked off Zelemar Leap soon after the start. Bullboar checked off Kaptain Tyne on the first turn. Bullboar galloped on the heels of Nuggy Burger on the first turn checking Bullboar. Zelemar Leap, Nuggy Burger and Bullboar collided approaching the home turn checking Zelemar Leap, Bullboar and Kaptain Tyne. College Graduate checked off Bullboar approaching the home turn. Bullboar checked off Frious Barb on the home turn checking Furious Barb. College Graduate and Furious Barb collided in the home straight checking Furious Barb.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Tanner's Ace engaged in this event on 23/07/2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Due Process and Panic Station collided approaching the first turn checking Panic Station. Due Process and Red Cadillac collided approaching the first turn. Mander Lark and Diamond Apple collided on the first turn checking Diamond Apple. Diamond Apple and Tricky Tezza collided approaching the home turn. Mander Lark and Red Cadillac collided approaching the home turn checking Red Cadillac. Due Process raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to C. Glen, trainer of the greyhound Spanky's Legacy as the greyhound had not raced since 8 April 2015. Mr Glen stated that the greyhound had been sent to Western Australia by its previous owner and whilst it was there it was unable to race due to injury. The greyhound was subsequently sold and returned to Victoria where it entered the kennels of Mr Glen.

A pre race sample was taken from Meadows One.

Play A Kazoo and Eddie Yap collided soon after the start. American Muscle, Spanky's Legacy and Meadows One collided approaching the first turn. American Muscle and Meadows One collided approaching the home turn checking Meadows One. Play A Kazoo and Eddie Yap collided in the home straight checking Eddie Yap. Eddie Yap and American Muscle collided in the home straight checking Eddie Yap. Spanky's Legacy raced wide on the home turn.

Mighty Hulk was quick to begin. Crymelon Scylla, Where's Exford and Bastet Bale collided soon after the start checking Where's Exford and Bastet Bale. Big Wolt, Locked Out and Fancy Assassin collided soon after the start. Where's Exford checked off Bastet Bale approaching the first turn. Where's Exford checked off Crymelon Scylla approaching the home turn. Bastet bale checked off Mighty Hulk on the home turn. Mighty Hulk and Big Wolt collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight. Mighty Hulk fell as a result.

Mighty Hulk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in both triangles and both shoulders. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Home You Go trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 26.4 kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.26, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.75 lengths. Home You Go was Cleared.
