Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Handley, trainer of the greyhound Stretch Limo and reminded him of his responsibility to ensure he carries his registration card at all times.
Darra Blaze, Baltic Valhlla, Our Cadel and Claretown Sam were slow to begin. Dynamite Dixie checked off Spritely Boy on the first turn. Baltic Valhalla and Claretown Sam collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Baltic Valhalla and Claretown Sam collided in the back straight and on the second turn. Dynamite Dixie contacted the running rail on the second turn. Stretch Limo and Mepunga Ted collided approaching the home turn an on the home turn checking Stretch Limo.
Claretown Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
