Dublin Bull, Miss Tricky and Promise Land were slow to begin. Kimmy Bale and Zooper Girl collided soon after the start checking Zooper Girl. Kimmy Bale, Firebomb and Quaker Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Firebomb. Miss Tricky checked off Dublin Bull on the first turn. Dublin Bull and Quaker Bale collided on the first turn checking Dublin Bull. Dublin Bull and Firebomb collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. Miss Tricky and Firebomb collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Britton, handler of the greyhound Dublin Bull and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.
