Big Cole and Katie Alouette were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn.  Spritely Boy and Razldazl Mookai collided approaching the first turn.  Blizem Cola and Polijuice Potion collided approaching the first turn.  Spritely Boy galloped on the heels of Blitzem Cola on the first turn.  Razldazl Mookai checked off Katie Alouette on the first turn and collided with Big Cole as a result.  Big Cole and Razldazl Mookai collided on the home turn.  Blitzem Cola and Katie Alouette collided on the home turn.  Big Cole and Katie Alouette raced wide in the home straight.

Bally Diamond and Saint Jane were quick to begin.  Stiegl, Show Bag Carter and Flaming Electra were slow to begin.  Show Bag Carter and Flaming Electra collided soon after the start checking Show Bag Carter.  Tanner's Ace checked off Saint Jane approaching the first turn and collided with Marie Schrader; Marie Schrader was checked as a result.  Why Not Logan, Saint Jane and Tanner's Ace collided on the first turn.  Why Not Logan checked off Saint Jane on the first turn and collided with Flaming Electra.  Why Not Logan and Show Bag Carter raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.  Why Not Logan and Show Bag Carter collided in the home straight.  Saint Jane checked off Flaming Electra approaching the winning post.

Prior to the All Clear, the correct numbers of 7, 2, 3 and 8 initially appeared on the semaphore board before being changed to the incorrect numbers of 2, 3, 8 and 4.  This was then corrected by the Judge to 7, 2, 3 and 8 and the All Clear was then given. 

Dublin Bull, Miss Tricky and Promise Land were slow to begin.  Kimmy Bale and Zooper Girl collided soon after the start checking Zooper Girl.  Kimmy Bale, Firebomb and Quaker Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Firebomb.  Miss Tricky checked off Dublin Bull on the first turn.  Dublin Bull and Quaker Bale collided on the first turn checking Dublin Bull.  Dublin Bull and Firebomb collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Miss Tricky and Firebomb collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Britton, handler of the greyhound Dublin Bull and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.

Samples were taken from Silent Fletch, the winner of the event and Dublin Bull, unplaced in this event.

Iyliss Bale was quick to begin.  Cruisy's Gift and Ulala Bale were slow to begin.  Nazareth Bale and Saintly Miss collided soon after the start checking Nazareth Bale.  Straw Hat Luffy and Saintly Miss collided approaching the first turn.  Cruisy's Gift faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result.  Nazareth Bale checked off Saintly Miss approaching the home turn.

Cruisy's Gift was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Blistering Bob, Harry Aztec and Bel Air Spice collided soon after the start checking Harry Aztec.  Marungi Choice, Bel Air Spice and Rage Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Bel Air Spice; Bel Air Spice and Walt Bale collided as a result.  Marungi Choice and Walt Bale collided on the first turn.  Bel Air Spice and Walt Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Bel Air Spice; Bel Air Spice and Ella's Cruising collided and lost considerable ground as a result.

Young Henry was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Mystic Twist and Who Dey collided approaching the first turn.  Kiltah Magic and Young Henry raced wide on the first turn.  Mystic Twist checked off Black Velcro approaching the second turn.  Mystic Twist and Who Dey collided approaching the home turn.  Kiltah Magic raced wide on the home turn.

Hession Boots and Lektra Cooked were slow to begin.  Aces High, Linco Bale and Recruitment collided soon after the start.  Recruitment and Linco Bale collided approaching the first turn. Aces High checked off Linco Bale approaching the first turn.  We Are Geelong and Recruitment collided on the first turn checking Recruitment and Hession Boots.  Linco Bale and Feikuai Molly collided on the first turn checking Linco Bale, Feikuai Molly and Aces High.  Lektra Cooked raced wide on the first turn.  Recruitment and Hession Boots collided approaching the second turn. We Are Geelong and High Mission collided in the back straight checking We Are Geelong.  High Mission checked off Hession Boots approaching the third turn.  Linco Bale and Recruitment collided approaching the home turn.  Aces High raced wide on the home turn.

Elite Faze and Uno Suzie were quick to begin.  Immortal Bear and Busta Voe collided soon after the start.  Fratelli Fresh, Immortal Bear and Paua To Roar collided approaching the first turn. Busta Voe, Lead Into Demise and Deli Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Deli Allen.  Busta Voe and Lead Into Demise collided on the first turn.  Paua To Roar raced wide on the home turn.  

Deli Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr.C.Grenfell, trainer of Kezza's Spirit redeclared a new weight of 33.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39 (2). Kezza's Spirit last raced at 32.0kg.

Kezza's Spirit and Next Grange were slow to begin.  Just A Taste, Kezza's Spirit, Santa's Serena and Next Grange collided approaching the first turn severely checking Kezza's Spirit and Santa's Serena and causing Santa's Serena to stumble.  Next Grange and Ima Apple collided on the first turn checking Just A Taste.  Shazzle Boy raced wide in the home straight.

Crackerjack Andy was quick to begin.  It's An Illusion, Argenta and Galloping Gem were slow to begin.  Argenta, Kick Like Mick and Galloping Gem collided approaching the first turn checking Kick Like Mick.  It's An Illusion, Argenta and Galloping Gem collided on the first turn checking It's An Illusion.  Kick Like Mick and It's An Illusion collided on the first turn checking It's An Illusion. Crackerjack Andy, Argenta and Galloping Gem collided on the first turn checking Galloping Gem.  Kick Like Mick checked off Galloping Gem on the first turn.  Kick Like Mick and Galloping Gem collided in the home straight.  It's An Illusion raced wide approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr.S.Collins, trainer of the greyhound Dina Bale regarding the extended period of time between the greyhounds races. Dina Bale last started on the 18th March 2015. Mr.Collins stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after suffering a toe injury on right front foot.

Virtue was slow to begin.  Lass Bale and Maximum Shera collided soon after the start checking Lass Bale.  Dina Bale and Maximum Shera collided approaching the first turn checking Maximum Shera.  Iona Blue, Dina Bale and Papillon collided on the first turn checking Iona Blue and Papillon.  Iona Blue raced wide entering the home straight.   

Alberino and Spring Topaz were slow to begin.  Alberino checked off Spring Topaz soon after the start.  Iona Machine and Shot Of Cain collided soon after the start.  Why Not Les checked off Chief Brit approaching the first turn.  Spring Topaz and Louisiana Lil collided approaching the first turn.  Alberino raced wide approaching the home turn.  Louisiana Lil checked off Shot Of Cain on the home turn and raced wide as a result.  Maximum Melva raced wide on the home turn.
