Stewards spoke to Mr. V.Awramenko, trainer of the greyhound Ninja Apple regarding the extended period of time between the greyhound's races. Ninja Apple last started on the 28th January 2015. Mr. Awarenko stated the greyhound was returning to race after suffering a pencil muscle injury to the left back leg.

Ninja Apple was slow to begin. Queen Elma checked off Why Not Sue soon after the start. Kenso Bale checked off Ninja Apple on the first turn. Major Larry checked off Queen Elma on the first turn. Why Not Sue and Olympic Lass collided entering the home straight checking Why Not Sue. Queen Elma raced wide in the home straight.

Zyon was slow to begin. Pure Riddle, Lord Regnar, We'll Clap That and Don's Licker collided approaching the first turn, checking Lord Regnar and We'll Clap That and severely checking Don's Licker. Zyon checked off Lord Regnar on the home turn, raced wide and collided with We'll Clap That.

Don's Licker was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Initial Factor was slow to begin. Silent Fletch checked off Carter Bale soon after the start. Carter Bale, Zooper Girl, Electro Bale and Chief Brit collided approaching the first turn checking Electro Bale and Zooper Girl. Carter Bale and Chief Brit collided on the first turn checking Chief Brit. Zooper Girl and Electro Bale collided on the first turn checking Electro Bale. Carter Bale and Nazareth Bale collided entering the home straight causing Carter Bale to brush the running rail. Harkonen Bale failed to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the winning post and collided with Chief Brit.

Stewards spoke to Mrs H. Collins, the handler of Harkonen Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Harkonen Bale was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 5, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right chest muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Harkonen Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Harkonen Bale was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Rossi and Colloquial were slow to begin. Fiery Fox, Secret Society and Where's Exford collided soon after the start checking Secret Society and Fiery Fox. Silver Ashlie checked off Wild Intention approaching the first turn, colliding with Colloquial and Secret Society resulting in Silver Ashlie losing considerable ground. Where's Exford, Fiery Fox and Secret Society collided on the first turn checking Where's Exford and severely checking Secret Society and Fiery Fox. Colloquial checked off Miss Rossi in the home straight.

Silver Ashlie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Secret Society was vetted following the event. It was reported that greyhound sustained grazing to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Fiery Fox was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Harry Aztec was quick to begin. Trail Blazing was slow to begin. Reckless Brown, Uno Whirl, Ima Misha Doll, Rage Bale and Bounty collided soon after the start checking Uno Whirl, Ima Misha Doll and Bounty. Ima Misha Doll and Trail Blazing collided on the first turn casuing Trail Blazing to race wide. Harry Aztec and Rage Bale collided in the back straight checking Harry Aztec. Uno Whirl checked off Ima Misha Doll on the third turn. Ima Misha Doll checked off the heels of Bounty on the home turn. Uno Whirl and Bounty collided in the home straight.

Mrs H. Collins, representative of Walt Bale redeclared a new weight of 36.3kg in accordance with GAR 39(2). Walt Bale last raced at 38.1kg.

Agility and Velloway collided soon after the start. Agility, Velloway and Blistering Bob collided soon after the start. Walt Bale and Agility collided approaching the first turn. Tangible, Black Macoy and Bel Air Spice collided approaching the first turn checking Black Macoy. Agility checked off Walt Bale on the first turn checking Velloway. Tangible chcked off Bel Air Spice on the first turn and collided with Black Macoy causing both greyhounds to race wide. Blistering Bob and Ella's Cruising collided approaching the home turn.

Tangible was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Remote Control was slow to begin. Thunderlips checked off Speed Chill soon after the start. Doing Chewing and Speed Chill collided approaching the first turn. Chief Tyson and Moonlight Cruise collided on the first turn checking Moonlight Cruise. Thunderlips and Chief Tyson collided approaching the home turn. Remote Control and Chappy raced wide entering the home straight.

Yoko was slow to begin. Busta Voe, Zipping Tank and Half Way There collided approaching the first turn checking Zipping Tank and Half Way There. Zipping Tank checked off Busta Voe on the first turn checking Yoko. Rumbling Rick and Fratelli Fresh collided in the early part of the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Mrs H. Collins, representative of Dyna Malaise redeclared a new weight of 28.3kg in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dyna Malaise last raced at 29.5kg.

Dodgy Dealer. Dozer Tron and Opal Bale collided soon after the start. Dodgy Dealer and Dozer Tron collided on the first turn. Opal Bale checked off the heels of Dyna Malaise on the first turn. Blue McCool raced wide on the home turn, checking Dodgy Dealer.

Eumeralla Donny was very slow to begin (3 lengths). See Him Rum was slow to begin. Princess Gemini and Baroness Molly collided approaching the first turn checking both. Emueralla Donny checked off Baroness Molly on the first turn. See Him Run and Zany Bale collided on the first turn checking Zany Bale. Fizzy Bale, Buckle Up Nikki and See Him Run collided entering the home straight. Buckle Up Nikki and See Him Run collided several times in the home straight.

Hallibel Bale was quick to begin. Miss Tricky was slow to begin. Mervue, Mississippi Girl and Kenzi collided approaching the first turn. Jazaan's Boy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Kenzi, Mississippi Girl, Mervue and Maximum Melva. Maximum Melva and Mervue collided on the first turn severely checking Mervue. Kenzi checked off Air Candy approaching the home turn. Maximum Melva and Kenzi collided on the home turn.

Mervue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to the left hind toe. No stand down period was imposed.
