Steward's Report
Rosalyn Hume, trainer of Fantastic Nikita redeclared a new weight of 27.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Fantastic Nikita last raced at 28.8kgs. Stewards spoke to Ms. Hume regarding the extended period of time between the greyhound's races. Fantastic Nikita last started at Dapto on the 26th March 2015. Ms. Hume stated the greyhound was having its first start for her following a change of kennel.
Move That Energy, Midwinter and Baltic Valhalla were slow to begin. Maserati Rev, Fantastic Nikita, She's All Aussie and Carve collided soon after the start, checking She's All Aussie and Carve. Satin Ice, Carve and She's All Aussie collided approaching the first turn, causing Carve to stumble. Carve checked off She's All Aussie on the first turn. Fantastic Nikita checked off Satin Ice approaching the home turn. She's All Aussie checked off Satin Ice entering the home straight and collided with Baltic Valhalla. Maserati Rev raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight. Fantastic Nikita, She's All Aussie and Baltic Valhalla collided in the home straight, checking Fantastic Nikita and She's All Aussie.
