Mr E Rinaldi, trainer of Ice Razor redeclared a new weight of 32.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ice Razor last raced at 33.5kgs.  Mr Rinaldo stated that Ice Razor was resuming from a right hind achilles injury.  Ice Razor last raced on 27 July 2014.

My Names Schultz and Iron Side were slow to begin.  Bigboy Brownless crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking My Regina and My Names Schultz.  Ice Razor checked off Add 'Em Up approaching the first turn.  Ice Razor and My Names Schultz collided on the first turn, checking Iron Side and Zambora Jai and severely checking Ice Razor.  Iron Side galloped on the heels of Zambora Jai approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds and causing Iron Side to race wide as a result.  Busby Boy and My Names Schultz collided entering the home straight.

Rosalyn Hume, trainer of Fantastic Nikita redeclared a new weight of 27.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Fantastic Nikita last raced at 28.8kgs. Stewards spoke to Ms. Hume regarding the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Fantastic Nikita last started at Dapto on the 26th March 2015.  Ms. Hume stated the greyhound was having its first start for her following a change of kennel.

Move That Energy, Midwinter and Baltic Valhalla were slow to begin.  Maserati Rev, Fantastic Nikita, She's All Aussie and Carve collided soon after the start, checking She's All Aussie and Carve.  Satin Ice, Carve and She's All Aussie collided approaching the first turn, causing Carve to stumble.  Carve checked off She's All Aussie on the first turn.  Fantastic Nikita checked off Satin Ice approaching the home turn.  She's All Aussie checked off Satin Ice entering the home straight and collided with Baltic Valhalla.  Maserati Rev raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.  Fantastic Nikita, She's All Aussie and Baltic Valhalla collided in the home straight, checking Fantastic Nikita and She's All Aussie.

Carve was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

That's The Plan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hamstring and right toe spike wounds, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs A Dailly trainer of Benzo Bale redeclared a new weight of 33.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Benzo Bale last raced at 35.2kg.

Damian Fleming, trainer of Bush Courage redeclared a new weight of 33.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bush Courage last raced at 35.0kgs.
