Pingu and All Inn Bundy were slow to begin. Arie's Jewel and Cosmic Ketut collided soon after the start. All Inn Bundy and Fancy Assassin collided soon after the start. Super Patricia checked off Vee Bee Elle soon after the start. Super Patricia, Pingu, Fancy Assassin and All Inn Bundy collided on the first turn checking Super Patricia and All Inn Bundy. Arie's Jewel and Cosmic Ketut collided on the first turn. Vee Bee Elle, Iona Machine and Pingu collided approaching the home turn checking Pingu. Vee Bee Elle, Pingu and Fancy Assassin collided on the home turn. Vee Bee Elle and Pingu collided entering the home straight causing Vee Bee Elle to fall checking All Inn Bundy.
Vee Bee Elle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left thigh strain and lacerations over the left track leg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
