A pre-race sample was taken from Folio Bale.
Allen Portland, Agile Reason and Cogitate were slow to begin. Flaming Electra and Allen Portland collided soon after the start. Agile Reason and Cogitate collided soon after the start. Folio Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Flaming Electra. Agile Reason checked off Kraken Nitro approaching the first turn. Folio Bale and Nitro Addiction collided on the first turn. Allen Portland brushed the running rail on the first turn. Allen Oregon and Flaming Electra collided on the first turn checking Agile Reason which raced wide as a result. Kraken Nitro and Cogitate raced wide on the second turn. Kraken Nitro and Cogitate collided in the back straight and again approaching the winning post.
