A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Bolero.
Dyna Zeek and Iconic Rock were quick to begin. Jesterday and Ernie Old were slow to begin. Dyna Zeek and Bide Time collided approaching the first turn. Ernie Old and Penelopes Cruzn collided approaching the home turn checking Penelopes Cruzn.
Penelopes Cruzn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right shoulder and right fibula. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Aston Bolero, the winner of the event in a track record time of 22.010.
