Daintree Dynamo, Need A Zac and Daintree Destroy collided approaching the first turn checking Need A Zac and Daintree Destroy. Daintree Dynamo and Armadale Lass collided on the first turn. Green Jersey and Captain Cranky collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Daintree Dynamo crossed out in the home straight checking Green Jersey and Captain Cranky.

Parrot Is Loose and General's Girl were quick to begin.  Dr. Watson, Tiana and Tinaka collided soon after the start checking Tinaka and Candy Rose.  Candy Rose and Miranlou collided approaching the first turn.  Parrot Is Loose and General's Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Tiana and Dr. Frankie collided on the first turn.  General's Girl, Tiana and Dr. Frankie collided on the first turn causing General's Girl to fall.  Candy Rose and Miranlou collided on the first turn.  Miranlou clipped the heels of Tiana approaching the second turn checking Tinaka.  Candy Rose crossed to the rail in the back straight causing Tinaka to clip the heels of Candy Rose checking both greyhounds.  Tinaka crossed to the outside on the third turn and clipped the heels of Parrot Is Loose checking both greyhounds.  Tiana and Tinaka collided entering the home straight.

General's Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Bernmar Caviar and It's Debatable were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Audacious Angel and Jax Mikado collided soon after the start.  Audacious Angel was checked off Stevron Autos approaching the first turn.  Galloping Fantom and Jett Zafonic collided on the first turn checking  Jax Mikado and Johnny Bullet and causing Stevron Autos to fall checking Audacious Angel.  Galloping Fantom and Bernmar Caviar collided approaching the second turn.  Jax Mikado and Johnny Bullet collided approaching the second turn checking It's Debatable.  Jax Mikado and Johnny Bullet collided on the third turn.  Audacious Angel and It's Debatable collided approaching the home turn.  Johnny Bullet was checked off Jax Mikado on the home turn.

Pocket Queen and Willowvale Brezz were slow to begin.  Flywheel Alfie, Beyond Galaxia and Burekup Jack collided on the first turn checking Beyond Galaxia and Burekup Jack.  Willowvale Brezz and Angie Rocks collided entering the front straight.  Flywheel Alfie crossed in on the second turn checking Dash Of Rose and Indi Allen.  Beyond Galaxia and Burekup Jack collided approaching the fourth turn checking Beyond Galaxia.  Burekup Jack and Pocket Queen collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Lunar Chief was quick to begin.  Carve was slow to begin.  Brindle Audrey and Carve collided soon after the start.  Akina Akeira and Kayo King collided soon after the start.  Booma Mikado crossed in approaching the first turn and collided with Lunar Chief.  Akina Akeira was checked off Kayo King on the first turn.  Saturday Sip and Booma Mikado collided approaching the second turn.  Lunar Chief and Fearless Swan collided on the second turn.  Lunar Chief and Booma Mikado collided entering the back straight.  Lunar Chief lost ground in the back straight.  Akina Akeira and Booma Mikado collided approaching the home turn.

Lunar Chief was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 8, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Blazing Thunder was slow to begin.  Blazing Thunder, Kuta's Lad and Sisco Wander collided on the first turn checking Kuta's Lad and Sisco Wander.  Blazing Thunder and Kuta's Lad collided in the front straight checking Kuta's Lad and Sisco Wander.  Blazing Thunder and Cheerful Scout raced wide on the third turn.  Kuta's Lad and Misty Sannette collided in the back straight checking Kuta's Lad.  Blazing Thunder and Cheerful Scout collided on the fourth turn checking Blazing Thunder and Misty Sannette.  Mum's Gem was checked off Blazing Thunder on the home turn.  Kuta's Lad and Willie Gee collided entering the home straight checking Willie Gee and Cheerful Scout.
