Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unabled to be obtained from Amari upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling. A post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Lil' Miss Banjo went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Nukstar was slow to begin. Lil' Miss Banjo, Urana Laurie, My Girl Belena and Amari collided approaching the first turn, checking Amari and Nukstar, and severely checking My Girl Belena, Urana Laurie and Lil' Miss Banjo, Lil' Miss Banjo fell as a result. Joraddi raced wide in the home straight.
Lil' Miss Banjo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Anustar - the winner of the event.
