Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Shaw the representative of Quotation Mark regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Quotation Mark last raced on 7 April 2016 and is returning after having a hock injury. Mr. Shaw also declared a new weight of 32.1 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Quotation Mark last raced at 30.8.
Invictus Rapid crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Shytown Hussler, Pappa Gallo, Levenseat Bevan and Athos. Extradition crossed to the rail soon after the start. Alpha Hermes crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark. Pappa Gallo crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.
Pappa Gallo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left flexor tendon and right back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
