Dyna Earp was a scratching by order of Stewards on Tuesday, 30 August at 6.20PM after it was established the greyhound was ineligible to compete. No stand down penalty was imposed.

Runaway Shay and Rock'em Elvis were quick to begin. She's Vivacious and Topper Arch were slow to begin. Dynamo's Gift and Topper Arch collided soon after the start and again on the first turn. Dynamo's Gift galloped on the heels of Rock'em Elvis on the first turn checking Dynamo's Gift, Rock'em Elvis and She's Vivacious. She's Vivacious and Rock'em Elvis collided approaching the home turn checking She's Vivacious and severely checking Rock'em Elvis. Hyper Venom checked off Runaway Shaye on the home turn. Gia checked off Hyper Venom entering the home straight.  Topper Arch checked off the heels of  Hyper Venom  in the home straight.

Topper Arch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained nail disturbance in both the left and right hindlegs.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr A. Azzopardi  the trainer of Topper Arch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post..

Rock'em Elvis was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dyna Earp trialled over the 450mtrs from box 1 weight 33.1kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 25.65 the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.25 lengths.  Dyna Earp was cleared.
