A pre race sample was taken from Glory Rose.
No Reply and Got Ya Back were quick to begin. Glory Rose and Yentil Bale were slow to begin. No Reply, Blue Not Black, Pica Up, Dynamite Dozer and Got Ya Back collided soon after the start, checking Pica Up. No Reply and Glory Rose collided on the first turn, causing No Reply to contact the running rail, severlely checking No Reply and Pica Up, No Reply fell as a result and Pica Up stumbled and tailed off. Got Ya Back and Dynamite Dozer collided approaching the home turn. Dynamite Dozer, Yentil Bale and Got Ya Back collided on the home turn, checking Got Ya Back.
No Reply was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind leg, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Pica Up was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
