Willowvale Pearl was quick to begin. Platinum Hepple and Jay Kay Be were slow to begin. Platinum Hepple contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Cash Ownley checked off Acquitted on the first turn checking Arvo's Violet and Jay Kay Be.
Platinum Hepple was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
