Marvey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Reid, the trainer of Cosmic Yap regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Cosmic Yap last raced on 01/04/2016.  Mr. Reid stated that the greyhound was returning to race following a left wrist injury.

Satisfactory Trial Results - In Dee Beginning trialled over the 315m  from box 1, weight 28.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.   The time of the trial was 18:26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.5 lengths.  In Dee Beginning was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Archie Jack trialled over the 395m from box 6, weight 35.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23:17, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 lengths.  Archie Jack was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - El Tee Hawk trialled over 395m from box 1, weight 31.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.17, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11 lengths.  El Tee Hawk was Cleared.
