Northern Rambler and Coolo collided soon after the start. Wild Jack Junior, Showood Ellie, Coolo and Northern Rambler collided soon after the start checking Northern Rambler, Showood Ellie and severely checking Coolo. Showood Ellie, Northern Rambler and Tim Tam Tim collided on the first turn. Carlos West and Wild Jack Junior collided on the first turn. Coolo trailed the field throughout, tailed off and was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder and the right thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
