Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Bandsaw.
Bandsaw and Ten To Midnight collided soon after the start checking Ten To Midnight. Frank's Flyer crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Grand, Tashelle Lea and Bandsaw. Addy's Delight, Santa Storm and Perfect Causeway collided on the first turn severely checking Perfect Causeway. Frank's Flyer and Tashelle Lea collided on the first turn checking Tashelle Lea and Bandsaw. Ten To Midnight galloped on the heels of Perfect Causeway approaching the home turn. Santa Storm, Frank's Flyer and Tashelle Lea raced wide in the home straight.
Perfect Causeway was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps and spike wounds to the front left paw. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
