Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to D. Coleman, trainer of the greyhound Lord Diamond with regard to the frequency of the greyhounds recent racing. Ms Coleman stated that whilst the greyhound is inexperienced, it is a dog that is able to recover well and benefits from backing up in a short period of time.
Dot Com Diesel was slow to begin. Deborah Lee and Splash Mountain collided soon after the start. Yaris Bale and Tybellene collided approaching the first turn. Yaris Bale, Tybellene, Deborah Lee and Splash Mountain collided on the first turn checking Lord Diamond and Tybellene. Tybellene and Dot Com Diesel collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lord Diamond and Tybellene collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Tybellene.
Lord Diamond was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
