Steward's Report
Mr. B. Gatt, trainer of Joshua Tree redeclared a new weight of 35.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39 (2). Joshua Tree last raced at 36.9kg.
Joshua Tree and Bryvon collided soon after the start checking Bryvon. Exit Zero, Joshua Tree and Bejjay Fantasy collided approaching the first turn checking Exit Zero, Joshua Tree and Giants Dance. Bryvon checked off Beljay Fantasy on the first turn and contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground as a result. Opal Bale and Giants Dance raced wide entering the home straight.
Bryvon was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Riches regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Bryvon. Stewards directed that Bryvon be boxed first in future events.
