Eroll Bale was slow to begin. Busta Voe, Nook And Cranny and India Pale collided approaching the first turn checking India Pale. Forheza and India Pale collided on the first turn. Cruisy's Luck and Busta Voe collided on the first turn checking Cruisy's Luck. India Pale raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Busta Voe and Nook And Cranny collided approaching the winning post. Loose Affair raced wide approaching the winning post.
Loose Affair, which trailed the field throughout the event, was vetted folloiwng the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Eroll Bale, which performed below market expectations, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
