Pedal To Metal was slow to begin.  Oh Lele Suzi was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Keeps No Secrets, Kenso Bale, Explosive Flame and Jazz Apple collided soon after the start checking Explosive Flame.  Keeps No Secrets and Kenso Bale collided on the first turn checking Keeps No Secrets which eased and collided with Explosive Flame; Keeps No Secrets and Explosive Flame lost ground as a result.  Pedal To Metal raced wide approaching the home turn.  Keeps No Secrets and Oh Lele Suzi collided approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Palma, trainer of the greyhound Keeps No Secrets regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn.  Keeps No Secrets was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hock.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Keeps No Secrets with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Palma pleaded guilty to the charge.  Keeps No Secrets was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) befoe any future nomination will be accepted.

Hercules Morse and Miss Briony were slow to begin.  Wally Walter, Pirlo and Heaps Of Boloney collided soon after the start checking Heaps Of Boloney.  Pirlo, Kinloch Stunna and Forged collided approaching the first turn checking Kinloch Stunna, Forged and Casanova.  Hercules Morse and Heaps Of Boloney collided on the first turn.  Heaps Of Boloney and Miss Briony collided approaching the home turn checking Heaps Of Boloney.  Kinloch Stunna checked off Forged entering the home straight and raced wide as a result.  Hercules Morse raced wide in the home straight.

Eumeralla Donny was very slow to begin (2 lengths).  Secret Society, Custom Fitted and I'll Rob Ya collided soon after the start checking Custom Fitted.  Custom Fitted and Cee Ronaldo collided on the first turn checking Custom Fitted.  Buckle Up Nikki checked off I'll Rob Ya on the first turn.  Crackerjack Hano checked off Eumeralla Donny on the first turn.  Eumeralla Donny and Secret Society collided on the home turn.  Crackerjack Hano and Cee Ronaldo collided on the home turn.

Road To Vegas and Runaway Shaye were slow to begin.  Penelopes Cruzn went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Runaway Shaye checked off Zooper Girl soon after the start.  Penelopes Cruzn and Touch Of Frost collided approaching the first turn.  Road To Vegas checked off Runaway Shaye approaching the first turn.  Maris Gold and Cosmic Scar collided on the first turn severely checking Cosmic Scar and Touch Of Frost; Cosmic Scar and Touch Of Frost lost considerable ground as a result.  Road To Vegas checked off Cosmic Goldie on the first turn.  Cosmic Guide and Runaway Shaye collided on the first turn.  Cosmic Scar raced wide on the home turn.

Cosmic Scar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Touch Of Frost was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Wynburn Blaze was slow to begin.  Blistering Bob and Dyna Lemmy collided on the first turn.  Wynburn Blaze raced wide on the first turn.  Dyna Lemmy and Agility collided on the home turn checking Agility and Blistering Bob.

Wynburn Blaze, which trailed the field throughout the event, was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Eroll Bale was slow to begin.  Busta Voe, Nook And Cranny and India Pale collided approaching the first turn checking India Pale.  Forheza and India Pale collided on the first turn.  Cruisy's Luck and Busta Voe collided on the first turn checking Cruisy's Luck.  India Pale raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Busta Voe and Nook And Cranny collided approaching the winning post.  Loose Affair raced wide approaching the winning post.

Loose Affair, which trailed the field throughout the event, was vetted folloiwng the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triceps.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Eroll Bale, which performed below market expectations, was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Busta Voe, the winner of the event.

Seeking Treasure and Roman Baroque collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Just A Taste, Hardaway Law, Dodgy Dealer, Samus Allen and Pyromania collided on the first turn checking Just A Taste, Dodgy Dealer, Samus Allen and Hardaway Law.  Just A Taste and Hardaway Law collided approaching the home turn checking Just A Taste and Roman Baroque. Hardaway Law and Samus Allen collided on the home turn.  Seeking Treasure and Roman Baroque collided on the home turn.  Seeking Treasure raced wide in the home straight.

Blingsteen was vetted prior to the event and passed fit to race.

Acola Rosebud was quick to begin.  Remote Control was slow to begin.  Impact Bale and Dyna Keitaro collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Impact Bale. Acola Rosebud and Dyna Keitaro collided approaching the home turn.  Remote Control raced wide entering the home straight. 

Mr. B. Gatt, trainer of Joshua Tree redeclared a new weight of  35.4kg  for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39 (2).  Joshua Tree last raced at 36.9kg.

Joshua Tree and Bryvon collided soon after the start checking Bryvon.  Exit Zero, Joshua Tree and Bejjay Fantasy collided approaching the first turn checking Exit Zero, Joshua Tree and Giants Dance.  Bryvon checked off Beljay Fantasy on the first turn and contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground as a result.  Opal Bale and Giants Dance raced wide entering the home straight.

Bryvon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Riches regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Bryvon.  Stewards directed that Bryvon be boxed first in future events.

Home Alone, Why Not Logan and Mississippi Girl collided soon after the start checking Why Not Logan.  Apatchy Racer and Chief Brit collided approaching the home turn.  Why Not Logan raced wide on the home turn.  Home Alone checked off Mississippi Girl on the home turn and raced wide as a result.  Chief Brit and Pingu collided approaching the winning post.

Zyon, Lara's Gem and Miss Tricky were slow to begin.  Strongbeth checked off Roll 'Em Sammy on the first turn, stumbled and collided with Harlem Shake as a result.  Zyon and Iona Blue collided approaching the home turn.  Strongbeth raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Britton, trainer of the greyhound Miss Tricky regarding the greyhound's improved performance in this event.  Mr. Britton stated that he has had the greyhound in his kennels for 7 weeks.  He also stated that the greyhound has been trialling only fair and that he expected that the greyhound would maybe run a place tonight.  Stewards noted his comments.

Strongbeth was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Beyond The Vally was slow to begin.  Promise Land was very slow to begin (2 lengths).  Cosmic Coad and Maisy Mac collided approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Coad.  Chief Tommy and Lady Tron collided on the first turn checking Lady Tron.  Crackerjack Andy and Chief Tommy collided on the first turn.  Crackerjack Andy checked off Promise Land on the home turn and raced wide checking Beyond The Vally;  Beyond The Vally and Lady Tron collided as a result.  Chief Tommy, Cosmic Coad and Promise Land collided in the home straight.
