Speedy Beat was quick to begin. Snow Hawke and Hydra collided soon after the start. King's Delight checked off Snow Hawke on the first turn, checking Snow Hawke. Jess Delight checked off Super Patricia on the first turn, causing Jess Delight to fall, severely checking King's Delight, which tailed off as a result. Hyra raced wide in the home straight.
