Magic Buddie was quick to begin. Good Wick, Super Ballotelli and Boloney World were slow to begin. Boloney World checked off Super Ballotelli soon after the start. Super Ballotelli checked off All Inn Rum soon after the start. Destinee Saint checked off Dark Chance approaching the first turn. Destinee Saint checked off Super Pablo on the first turn. Destinee Saint and Boloney World collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Good Wick raced wide on the home turn. Destinee Saint and Super Pablo collided in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. 

Duck Hole Flyer, Stiegl and Teddy Nitro were slow to begin. No Boots and Duck Hole Flyer collided approaching the first turn. Stiegl, Teddy Nitro, Brown Bomber and Zipping Morgan collided approaching the first turn, checking Teddy Nitro and Brown Bomber. Staggerlicious and Big Wolt collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Teddy Nitro and Brown Bomber raced wide entering the home straight and collided as a result. Zipping Morgan raced wide entering the home straight. Staggerlicious and Big Wolt collided approaching the winning post. 

Brown Bomber was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right front leg. No stand down period was imposed. 

Staggerlicious was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left front dew claw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre race sample was taken from Greysynd Emma.

Zipping Simmo and Greysynd Emma were slow to begin. Weather Whatever and Flying Opal collided approaching the first turn. Weather Whatever checked off Rusty's Cape approaching the first turn. Zipping Simmo and Dime collided on the first turn, checking See Him Go, Rusty's Cape, Greysynd Emma, Weather Whatever and Flying Opal, and severely checking Dime. Greysynd Emma checked off Rusty's Cape approaching the home turn and collided with See Him Go. Zipping Simmo raced wide on the home turn. 

Stagger Pace, Rip It, Blazin' Bomber and Zipping Chubbz were slow to begin. Moonlight Lace and Tat Duke collided approaching the first turn, checking Moonlight Lace and Stagger Pace, and severely checking Tat Duke. Daphne's Party and Blazin' Bomber collided on the first turn, causing Daphne's Party to fall, checking Moonlight Lace and Stagger Pace as a result. Zipping Chubbz raced wide entering the home straight.

Daphne's Party was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hock, a graze to the left ear, and a laceration to the right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Coota's Cazaly was slow to begin. Coota's Cazaly and Spring Premier collided soon after the start, checking Coota's Cazaly. Unexcuseable and Fancy Assassin collided approaching the first turn. Dark Avenger and Spring Premier collided on the first turn, checking Spring Premier and Fancy Assassin. Dark Avenger and Coota's Cazaly raced wide on the home turn. Detroit Tiger raced wide entering the home straight. Spring Premier and Fancy Assassin collided in the home straight. 

Mr. M. Wallworth, trainer of Darcy's Entity redeclared a new weight of 35.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Darcy's Entity last raced at 33.9kg.

Darcy's Entity and Top Secret were slow to begin. Derby Magic checked off Suave Odessa approaching the first turn. Suave Odessa and Cosmic Lily collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Splash Of White, Lovely Lizzie, Darcy's Entity and Top Secret collided on the first turn, checking Darcy's Entity and Top Secret. Derby Magic checked off Darcy's Entity approaching the home turn. Cosmic Lily and Top Secret collided entering the home straight. Suave Odessa and Cosmic Lily collided in the home straight. 

Top Secret was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the groin, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr. G. Glass did not act in any official capacity for this event.

All Inn Troy was slow to begin. All Inn Troy and Real Baroque collided on the first turn and again on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. All Inn Troy checked off Real Baroque entering the home straight. Kenny's Millions and Mohinga Max raced wide entering the home straight and collided as a result. Pollos Hermanos, Kenny's Millions and Mohinga Max collided in the home straight. Mohinga Max checked off Kenny's Millions in the home straight. 

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr. G. Glass did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Jordy Paige was slow to begin. Dance Craze checked off Zipping Anna approaching the first turn. Zipping Anna and Miss Icy Fantasy collided on the first turn. Dance Craze, Some Tricks and Zipping Express collided on the first turn, causing Some Tricks and Zipping Express to fall. Jordy Paige eased on the first turn. Liam's Entity eased on the first turn and tailed off. 

Some Tricks was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the groin and right stiffle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Zipping Express was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist and grazes to the left hind leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Liam's Entity was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Wallworth, the trainer of the greyhound Liam's Entity regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Liam's Entity with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Wallworth pleaded not guilty to the charge,  Liam's Entity was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Glass, the trainer of the greyhound Jordy Paige regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Jordy Paige was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left hind nail, a 5 stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Jordy Paige with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr.Glass pleaded guilty to the charge, Jordy Paige was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ivy Lane and Shintaro Junetsu were slow to begin. Pass Of Time and Elite Gladiator collided approaching the first turn, checking Pass Of Time. Ivy Lane checked off Sonny's Tas on the first turn. Locked Out crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Shintaro Junetsu, Pass Of Time, Sonny's Tas and Elite Gladiator. All Inn Jack and Eddie Yap collided on the first turn. Sonny's Tas galloped on the heels of Elite Gladiator approaching the home turn and collided with Ivy Lane. Pass Of Time raced wide on the home turn. Shintaro Junetsu raced wide entering the home straight. 

Stagger Express and Will Be Back were slow to begin. She Cant' Run and Tantrum Tommy collided approaching the first turn, checking Tantrum Tommy which stumbled as a result. Belfast Tommy and She Can't Run collided on the first turn. Stagger Express checked off WIll Be Back on the first turn. Will Be Back and Jodie's Knee collided approaching the home turn. Stagger Express and Belfast Tommy collided in the home straight.

Speedy Beat was quick to begin. Snow Hawke and Hydra collided soon after the start. King's Delight checked off Snow Hawke on the first turn, checking Snow Hawke. Jess Delight checked off Super Patricia on the first turn, causing Jess Delight to fall, severely checking King's Delight, which tailed off as a result. Hyra raced wide in the home straight.

Jess Delight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

King's Delight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained general soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
