Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to the trainer of the greyhound Stretch Limo, Mr. P. Handley regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Mr. Handley stated that the greyhound had been spelling due to tonsillitis.
Stretch Limo was quick to begin. Sailing Ale and Charlie Soprano were slow to begin. Quick Shanks and Mini Morgo collided approaching the first turn. Sailing Ale and Mini Morgo collided entering the home straight checking Mini Morgo and severely checking Quick Shanks. Sailing Ale and Stretch Limo collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Quick Shanks was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
