Phil Miyoot, Fast Boloney and Aston Dawn collided on the first turn checking Aston Dawn and severely checking Phil Miyoot and Fast Boloney. Tricky Tezza, Aston Dawn and All Inn Tops collided approaching the home turn checking Heard It Before and severely checking Tricky Tezza, Aston Dawn and All Inn Tops and causing Fast Boloney to fall. Miss Capone raced wide and stumbled entering the home straight.

Fast Boloney was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Aston Dawn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind toes. No stand down period was imposed.

Georgia, Snooky and Grey Mater collided approaching the home turn checking Georgia and Grey Mater. Grey Mater raced wide on the home turn. Zachie Dude checked off Argenta in the home straight.

Kardinia Magic, Oh Lele Simon, Smokster and Ring The Bell collided on the first turn checking Oh Lele Simon, Smokester and severely checking Kardinia Magic and Barroom Express; Hot Patootie raced wide as a result. Kardinia Magic, Hot Patootie and Red Hot Bella raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Rennicane and El Bee Cee were quick to begin. Zelemar Storm, Ivy Lane and Claretown Maisy were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Ivy Lane. Zelemar Storm checked off Up And Adam approaching the first turn checking Ivy Lane. Up And Adam checked off All Inn Black on the first turn. Rennicane and Vapor Lee collided approaching the home turn checking Rennicane. El Bee Cee raced wide on the home turn. All Inn Black checked off Rennicane on the home turn, checking Up And Adam. Zelemar Storm and All Inn Black collided in the home straight.

Dot Com Diesel was very slow to begin, 3 lengths. Dark Jameson, Shankill Mo, Punk Panther, Two Forty Volt and Shazzle's Boy collided on the first turn checking Shankill Mo, Punk Panther, Two Forty Volt and Shazzle's Boy. Hunter Rocks, Bruce Tycoon and Dark Jameson collided in the back straight checking Bruce Tycoon and Dark Jameson. Two Forty Volt checked off Shazzle's Boy on the second turn. Seabrook Snow, Vermont and Kid Maximus collided on the first turn checking Vermont and Kid Maximus. Rambling Rick and Lovely Lizzie collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Rumbling Rick. Vermont and Kid Maximus collided approaching the home turn checking Kid Maximus. Rumbling Rick, All Inn Ky and Kid Maximus collided on the home turn checking Rumbling Rick and Kid Maximus.

High Hopes was slow to begin. Southwood Denis, Lektra Khan, Quick Kisses and Headline collided approaching the first turn checking Quick Kisses, Headline and High Hopes. Quick Kisses and Me Name's Nelson collided on the second turn checking Me Name's Nelson. Quick Kisses and High Hopes collided on the home turn checking Quick Kisses.

Elite Sprite, Avatar Becker and Gear Box Jack were slow to begin. Avatar Becker checked off Yaris Bale on the first turn. Velocity Saphire checked off Uno Suzie on the first turn checking Yaris Bale, Smokey Whispers and Elite Sprite. Yaris Bale and Smokey Whispers collided on the second turn checking Smokey Whispers. Velocity Saphire galloped on the heels of Alice Fox approaching the home turn checking Alice Fox, Velocity Saphire, Elite Sprite and Yaris Bale. Alice Fox was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Mr. A. Azzopardi, trainer of Spring James redeclared a new weight of 34.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Spring James last raced at 33.0kg.

Show Bag Carter, Zulu Retreat and Spring James were slow to begin. Silent Fletch checked off Fancy Assassin soon after the start. Silent Fletch, Zulu Retreat and Greysynd Chief collided on the first turn severely checking Greysynd Chief and Silent Fletch and causing Zulu Retreat to fall. Silent Fletch clipped the heels of Greysynd Chief approaching the home turn.

Zulu Retreat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left thigh. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Bastet Bale was a late scratching at 6:17pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the left metacarpal pad. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Be My Love was quick to begin. Shifty Jack and Tredgar were slow to begin. Miss Viking, Kripke and Shifty Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Kripke and Shifty Jack. Miss Viking checked off Bojack Kahn on the first turn.

Brianna Morgan was quick to begin. Finchy checked off Etoile De Mer soon after the start. Brianna Morgan and Kevin In Bangkok collided soon after the start checking Kevin In Bangkok. My Girl Chloe and Brianna Morgan collided approaching the first turn checking Brianna Morgan. Etoile De Mar and Kevin In Bangkok collided on the first turn checking Etoile De Mer, Brianna Morgan, Select Waratah and All Inn Wingate. Etoile De Mer checked off Brianna Morgan in the home straight.
