Fast Boloney, Aston Dawn and All Inn Tops were slow to begin. Heard It Before was very slow to begin, 4 lengths. Phil Miyoot, Fast Boloney and Aston Dawn collided on the first turn checking Aston Dawn and severely checking Phil Miyoot and Fast Boloney. Tricky Tezza, Aston Dawn and All Inn Tops collided approaching the home turn checking Heard It Before and severely checking Tricky Tezza, Aston Dawn and All Inn Tops and causing Fast Boloney to fall. Miss Capone raced wide and stumbled entering the home straight.
Fast Boloney was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Aston Dawn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind toes. No stand down period was imposed.
